ADOPTION FEES
Kittens, cats, dogs, and puppies will
anxiously await your arrival hoping for a new home!

Adoption Fees: $40 for pups and $90-$125 for adult dogs; $25 for kittens and $50 for cats. Remember, PVHS requires spaying/neutering; once the procedure is done, a portion of the adoption fee
will be returned to you!

The Poteau Valley Humane Society
is a nonprofit
organization dedicated to relieving the pain and suffering of animals through
educational efforts as well as direct intervention. It is a community problem
and we need the community's help to make a difference in the lives of animals
and the people who love and care for them. Poteau Valley Humane Society is

of our volunteers can tell you something about the history of the
animal, about the pet's habits observed while at the shelter, about
proper care for the pet, and volunteers offer you help in choosing a pet

continues to produce animals even while there are hundreds of thousands
of homeless, unwanted pets in this country, why not "Adopt One until

many animals--too few adoptive homes. Pets adopted from a shelter or
rescue are usually spayed or neutered prior to being released to their
new home.
