Poteau Valley Humane Society is a non-funded shelter and relies on your
donations.
Thanks, PVHS
June is "Adopt a Cat Month" and the
Poteau Valley Humane Society an abundance of both experienced cats
and kittens of various ages and colors.
The older kitties are already spayed and
neutered and are very savvy in the ways of the world. Tiger likes
to sit upon the TV and just hang out. She's a very good supervisor
- she knows how to supervisor the mop and you when you are washing
dishes.
Ace, a gray tabby neutered male can be a
bossy little guy and teach the other cats to mind their own
business. Sarge is the NCO of the group. He tries to keep everyone
in line, but the kittens don't pay him any attention. Grayson is a
laid back sort of fellow who just like to have a belly rub and some
one-on-one time with you.
Triza and Emma are two calico sisters
who are about three months old and are new to the shelter along with
their brother, Jethro.
In addition to all the cats and kittens
available at the shelter, we have a number of puppies. Pictured is
Snowball, a shepherd/sheepdog mix. His litter was born March 25 at
the shelter. There are five puppies left. In addition to Snowball,
there is Shadow, Gopher, Lil Wolf, and Scooter. They love playing
in a swimming pool and are bundles of loving fun.
There are many other wonderful pets
looking for a forever home which are making a temporary home at PVHS.
Remember to make adoption the first option if you are planning to
add a pet to your family.
